Invoice Notifications in Slack

You receive notifications for key invoice events: invoice created, invoice sent to customer, invoice viewed by customer, payment received, invoice overdue, and recurring invoice generated. Each notification includes the invoice number, customer name, amount, and a direct link to the invoice.

Yes. During setup, you select which Slack channel receives invoice notifications. You can use an existing channel like #accounting or #invoices, or create a dedicated channel. You can also configure different channels for different notification types.

No. The integration works with Slack Free, Pro, Business+, and Enterprise Grid plans. Slack Free includes unlimited app integrations, so you can connect Online Invoice Maker without upgrading your Slack workspace.

Yes. You can configure the integration to send notifications as direct messages to specific team members. This is useful if only one person handles invoicing and does not want to create a separate channel.

Yes. When a customer opens the invoice link or views the invoice PDF, a notification is sent to your configured Slack channel with the timestamp and customer details. This helps you follow up at the right moment.

Each Slack notification includes a direct link to the invoice in your Online Invoice Maker dashboard. While you cannot edit invoices within Slack directly, you are one click away from viewing, sending, or managing any invoice.

Go to Settings > Integrations > Slack in your Online Invoice Maker dashboard and click Disconnect. You can also remove the app from your Slack workspace by going to Slack > Settings > Manage Apps. Both methods immediately stop all notifications.

Yes. We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication, which means we never see your Slack password. The integration only requests permissions to post messages to channels you explicitly choose. No message history or private data from your Slack workspace is accessed.
